Dr. Suzman NY CT Plastic Surgeon Rhinoplasty Surgery

Procedure Details

Where to have surgery?

Many patients wonder whether it is safest to have surgery in the hospital, a doctors office procedure room, or an ambulatory surgery center. Rhinoplasty typically requires general anesthesia to be done safely and make sure the airway is safe from bleeding or irritation. The surgery therefore needs to be done in a certified operating room with the highest safety standards. This could be a freestanding surgical center or a hospital, depending on where your surgeon is most comfortable. Typically, hospitals do not perform a large volume of cosmetic plastic surgery and the staff and equipment at a higher volume ambulatory surgery Center maybe superior for plastic surgery. Dr. suzman performs all of his surgeries at fully accredited surgical operating rooms including The Rye Ambulatory Surgery Center in Westchester County NY and Greenwich Hospital's Holly Hill Outpatient Surgery Center in Fairfield County, CT.
